Most beautiful, Indians or Venezuelans?

One controversial question, isn’t it? I am not going to answer this question, but my hub provides some facts to decide the answer. Anyway no one is willing to waste time to decide the answer but enjoy the beauty of beauty queens from these two countries.
There are two major beauty contests in the world.
- Miss world – started in 1951, HQ is in London, UK
- Miss universe – started in 1952, HQ is in New York, USA
Both contests were dominated by Indian beauty queens and Venezuelans beauty queens during last two decades as follows.
Miss world
Both countries won five titles each since the beginning of the contest. Eight titles were won by both countries since 1980 out of 29 contests.
- India – 1966, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000
- Venezuela - 1955, 1981, 1984, 1991, 1995
Indian beauty queens who won “Miss World” are as follows,
- 1966 - Reita Faria
- 1994 - Aishwarya Rai
- 1997 – Diana Hayden
- 1999 – Yukta Mookhey
- 2000 – Priyanka Chopra
Venezuela beauty queens who won “Miss World” are as follows,
- 1955 – Susana Duijm
- 1981 – Irene Saez Conde
- 1984 - Astrid Corolina Herrera Irrazabal
- 1991 – Ninibeth Beatriz Leal Jimenez
- 1995 – Jacqueline Aguilera
Miss Universe
Venezuelan beauty queens are dominant in this contest over Indians. Venezuelan beauty queens won six titles while Indians won only two titles. American beauty queens dominate in this contest over both these countries by winning seven titles, but four out of seven are before 1980. Seven titles are won by both countries since 1980 out of thirty contests.

- Venezuela - 1979, 1981, 1986, 1996, 2008, 2009
Indian beauty queens who won “Miss Universe” are as follows,
- 1994 - Sushmitha Sen
- 2000 - Lara Dutta
Venezuela beauty queens who won “Miss Universe” are as follows,
- 1979 – Maritza Sayalero
- 1981 – Irene Saez
- 1986 - Bárbara Palacios Teyde
- 1996 – Alicia Machado
- 2008 – Dayana Mendoza
- 2009 - Stefania Fernandez
Both “Miss World” and “Miss Universe” titles were won by Indian beauty queens in 1994 & 2000 while Venezuelan won both in 1981. Hope now you have a very clear picture how world beauty queen contests are dominated by both countries.

Beauty contests, though enjoyable, are not really only beauty cotests. It is nothing but the lobbying of cosmetics industry and fashion people. in order to increase the sales of their products, they run these make believe shows. Now a dayus we are seeing even African Negro girls are getting selected in prestigious beauty contests. it is only because,The sales of these things in tyhose countries is not at satisfactory level to the producers.The judges at these contests, some of them will not have aesthetic sense but they will be famous in some other fieldn For eg: in the Miss world contest held in Bnangalore about 15 years ago, had A Celebrated Srilankan cricketer as one of the juries.
Leaving all this to otherside, coming to say whether Indians or VeniZulians are more beautiful,( You have not answered it) by the statistics given by you it seems, that Vens are more beautiful because, more number of beauty queens have come there from a far lesser population!

Yes, I totally agree with you. Most of the functions and festivals around us are to promote some products. Very recently I also experienced such thing in Iraq where I employed, as all we know Iraq is a Muslim country. As far as I know,there are no Christians in the city where I live. But all the shops and shopping malls were totally changed their appearance and show "X'mas sale" with “Santa Claus”. "Happy X'mas" everywhere...I feel that I am in Europe…
I do not want to give an answer for my question in my hub since I wanted to left it for readers, Anyway both Indians and Venezuelans are beautiful. It is well know fact.

imo indians are more beautiful simply because they look the way they do due to natural evolution while a big reason why venezuelans are so beautieful is because they are a recent mixture of lots of races, same with americans so its not really fair to compare them with indians who are an indeginous group to south asia,(i know there are plenty of different groups in india but most of them are native indians)
indian women r very ugly , most of the have huge nose nd short nd fat ...they look desgusting .i think is because INBREEDING which is very commun in india as they dont reproduce with outsiders as they consider us inferior ...
Venezuelans, they more beautiful in a diverse way. But to be fair you should have posted photos of all the beauty queens.

Venezuelans are not at all beautiful. their lips are so wide and disgusting really. african women are twice more attractive than them. COMING TO INDIANS NO 1 CAN COMPETE WITH THEIR BEAUTY. INDIANS ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL. we r proud to be INDIANS.
i think venezuelans are more beuty that indians and @ gom african womens are also twice more attractive that indians to on the celebritiea are beuty in india
